This toy dates from the early 1960s and is in lovely condition. He has slight wear to his hat and his nose but this adds to his rustic charm. His fur is in fantastic order with no matting or bald spots. His tie is still attached which is nice to see. His tail has the small bead at the end allowing for a gentle tinkling when pulled along.
The original string is still present which is often not the case. His legs move round allowing him to pedal as he is pulled along. The wheels turn smoothly with no snagging. The metal of his bicycle is in fabulous shape with few chips and all colours bright and vivid.
